Cognition Brewing Company is reopening, likely as early as tomorrow (Saturday).
No details yet but owner Jay Clancey has simply written “We are Back!! Snow moving starts immediately.”
Cognition has been closed since late last week after the brewery’s landlord, the Mather Inn, plowed a huge wall of snow in front of Cognition’s front door.
Although neither side wanted to publicly discuss the dispute, turns out it was over a financial disagreement.
How was it resolved? Unclear at this point, although Cognition hired an attorney to deal with the matter.
Bottom line? It’s resolved, at least for now, and Cognition starts re-pouring brews, probably by tomorrow.
