EVERYBODY LOVES A Blizzard, right?

The deal is just about wrapped up to locate a new Dairy Queen franchise on a one acre site in the parking lot of Target. A few i’s to dot, a few t’s to cross, and then they’ll start building.
Best case scenario, construction gets underway in April, the doors open in July. Worst case? Today’s actual blizzard continues through June.
The two partners in the Dairy Queen project are locals. Steve Tasson is a businessman. Kevin Swanson is a DNR biologist. They’ve long had a dream to open up a Dairy Queen. Dreams come true.
Rumors have been swirling for the last several months that the Dairy Queen would locate in the Menards parking lot. Almost happened, but it fell through at the last minute.
The Target location is virtually a done deal, they say. In fact, they’re already advertising for a general manager and assistant manager.
Perks? All the Blizzards you can consume, even in the dead of winter.
